I rarely blogged in Friendster, because i don’t really like the user interface. About two years ago i decided to move my blog to self hosting wordpress blog. Since i loved the features in wordpress. Now, friendster use wordpress as their blog platform, and i may blog again in here.
Well i heard from friends that the first night with babies would be very tiring. After experience it by myself last night, i believe that it is true, even worse, since we got twins. Esspecially for my wife, since she is in recovery state, for her this
very very tiring. We still need to understand what the twins want and adjust our life with them.
Today, August 10, 2006, The twins are born !
Michael Whilson Limijaya was born at 6:25am and Kevin Whinson Limijaya was born at 6:26am
They were both have 49cm height, but Michael was a little bit heavier (2.8kg) than Kevin (2.55kg). They were born by sectio caesar surgery.
Tomorrow my wife would already be 37 weeks pregnant. The babies are getting bigger and bigger. Last Thursday from USG, one of them already reached 2.8 kg and the other reached 2.5 kg.
The doctor expect that the babies will be born in another 1 to 3 weeks.
We have already prepared all the babies need from beds, cloths, diapers, money (of course) etc.. The most important things that still need to be prepared are our mental and physics. We have already decide that we would take care our twins by ourselves and our parents without maid and babysitters. I know it would be very tough for us. So we really need extra energy.
The twins are now both reach 33 weeks and have about 2000 grams each. The doctor said that by looking the baby position, it will be possible for them to be born normally (not with sectio caesar). We are happy to hear it , but we give it all to God.
Yesterday, we saw the doctor again. We’re both happy that the twins are in good conditions. They’re already about 31 weeks and have weight about 1.6 kg.
The doctor tried a new USG device, and she gived us a free picture of one of our baby in 4D. It was not too clear though, but we were very happy since we heard that it is expensive to get that kind of picture. She could not take a picture of the other baby because his position was not good.
We still can not decide wether to give identical names or not identical ones.
While seeking for reference in books and internet, i found that there are trends to not giving identical names to the twins. The reference said that it is not good for the twins pyschologically especially when they grow up later. But giving identical names for the twins would be very cute 
So …. ??
Today, we’ve checked to the doctor again. And the doctor told us the twins are both male.
They were already about 29 weeks, and both of them were about 1.2 - 1.3 kg. We are now can prepare names for the babies.
Btw, we decided to change our doctor last month. From the famous doctor to the infamous one.
We believe that the infamous doctor can give a better service than the famous one, the famous one were too crowded and could not even remember his patients. He gave too expensive medicine and we could not discuss our problems well, since he wanted to have as many as patients he could have. It did not mean that he was bad doctor, it just that we did not feel that he can fulfill our needs.
We went to the doctor again yesterday. And we met our babies again! It
is wonderful to see them in good condition. One of our babies is very
active. The doctor said that it is possible that both of them are male,
since he found that both of them have a probably penis organ. But we
have to wait until next month to make sure.
